3. Purposes and legal bases

|---|---|---|

You do not need to consent to marketing or optional cookies to send an ordinary enquiry. Required form fields help us respond; without a contact email or description, we may be unable to handle your request. The phone number and CV in the job enquiry form are optional.
4. How long we retain data
| Purpose | Retention period or criterion |
|---|---|
| Questions and service enquiries | While handling your request and necessary follow-up discussions. If a contractual relationship begins, relevant documents are then retained according to that purpose and legal obligations. |
| CVs and recruitment correspondence | While assessing the application and conducting the related selection process. Using data for future opportunities requires a separately defined purpose and legal basis. |
| Security records | For the time needed for technical diagnostics and website security. Records concerning a specific incident may be needed until it is resolved and related rights can be protected. |
| Cookies and browser settings | According to the individual entry in our Cookie policy. Cookie choices are retained for up to 365 days. |
There is no single automatic retention period for all data. Relevant criteria include whether a request is closed, an ongoing relationship exists, a legal obligation applies or a specific legal claim needs to be protected. Contact us for information about retention relating to your own request.
5. Who may access your data
Depending on the purpose, data may be processed by authorised company staff and providers of hosting, IT administration, backups and business email. Relevant information may also be provided to professional advisers or competent authorities when handling legal obligations or claims.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: protection against automated abuse of forms; device and verification information is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
- Wordfence / Defiant, Inc.: website security and threat assessment; see the Wordfence privacy policy.
- Google Maps: only if you enable the external map; see Google’s privacy policy.
Analytics and advertising tools are not enabled in the current website configuration. Fonts are served from our own server rather than Google Fonts.
6. External services and transfers outside the EEA
Cloudflare, Google and Defiant operate internationally. Their services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. We therefore do not load the optional map until you choose to allow it.
In its international transfer information, Cloudflare describes the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses for relevant transfers. Defiant describes standard contractual clauses in the Wordfence privacy policy. Google explains its mechanisms in its data transfer information. You may ask the controller for information about recipients and safeguards relating to your data.
7. Your rights and how to exercise them
- Access to your personal data and information about processing.
- Rectification of inaccurate data and, where appropriate, completion of incomplete data.
- Erasure or restriction of processing where the legal conditions are met.
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Portability of automatically processed data based on consent or a contract, where applicable.
- Withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Send your request to office@mobohemia.cz and explain which communication or data it concerns. Identity checks must be proportionate; please do not send an identity document without a reason. We respond without undue delay, normally within one month. Where legally permitted, this may be extended by two further months; we will explain the extension and its reason within the initial month.
You may lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, or the competent authority where you usually live, work or believe an infringement occurred.
8. Your choices and further information
The website does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Sending a service or job enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing messages. We would provide separate information about any distinct new purpose.
Change map consent using Cookie settings on this page or in the footer. Rejecting the map does not prevent you from using the rest of the website. See our Cookie policy for details.
